Pioneer's PLX-500 inherits many key features from the popular PLX-1000, but at a lower price point. The PLX-500 features a high-torque, direct drive motor that is suitable for DJ's that want to mix and scratch, as well as vinyl lovers that just want to listen to records. In addition to the familiar layout, DJ's will appreciate the the ±8% pitch control (for mixing and tempo matching) as well as the insulated S-shaped tonearm that is designed to minimize tracking errors. A USB connection is included for easy digital recording of your vinyl collection and the included dust cover features a unique built-in sleeve stand that allows you to display the record's cover art. The PLX-500 comes complete with slipmat, 45 adapter, necessary cables, and pre-mounted cartridge so you can start listening right out of the box.
