Sumiko's Black Pearl Cartridge is the mid-priced model in their affordable line of audiophile cartridges. It is a moving magnet type cartridge with alloy cantilever, bonded spherical stylus and 4.0mV output. This will serve as a decent upgrade to stock carts that come with most turntables and provides great, full range sound reproduction.
